Rocking Toy Safety- Rocking toys should be steady and stable enough to permit safe mounting, and should not rock so far that they might tip forwards or backwards.
- Be sure to use rocking toys in a large, open play space with a soft, carpeted floor, uncluttered by surrounding furniture on which children may bump their heads in the event of a fall.
- Be prepared to supervise play closely, particularly mounting and dismounting, and discourage any attempts to rock too vigorously.
